OGL operates as a vertically integrated OEM partner in China and India, providing turnkey project delivery, equipment supply, engineering design, and after-sales support to mining, metals, and industrial minerals clients across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.

Vertical Integration from Ore to Product

OGL structures projects to capture value at every stage of the processing chain — from raw mineral extraction through beneficiation, chemical processing, thermal treatment, and downstream conversion into tradable products. Energy Self-Sufficiency via Coal-to-Syngas

OGL pioneered double-stage fixed-bed coal gasification systems as the primary energy source for kiln, furnace, and power generation needs. By substituting imported fuels with locally available coal converted to syngas, projects achieve energy costs 40–70% below diesel-powered operations.

Competitive Capital Equipment

OGL sources capital equipment from qualified Chinese manufacturers, achieving CAPEX reductions of 30–60% compared with Western equivalents, while maintaining process performance, reliability, and lifespan. All equipment is procured to OGL’s specifications with full certifications.

Local Workforce Integration

OGL designs plants around the available local workforce cost structure. Labour-intensive operations are retained as manual workstations, generating employment, building technical skills, and reducing CAPEX. Expatriate engineers are deployed only for specialised functions, supported by mobilisation and orientation services.
